Daintree Rainforest Activist
Jimmy Stanton Cooke has been sporting a half-shaved beard for almost 7 years. Why the unusual facial hair choice? He’s building awareness about the fact that 50% of the world’s forests have been destroyed, 50% of all plant species are extinct, and 50% of the Great Barrier Reef has been bleached.
Since 2022, Ben & Jerry's has worked alongside Jimmy and in turn, the Jabalbina Aboriginal Corporation, specifically to support the healing of the oldest rainforest in the world, the Daintree rainforest located in QLD, Australia, you can read more about it here!
But the changes that Jimmy wants to see in the world are not over yet. There is no switch off button for his cause, especially when he wears the issue on his face.
“It’s allowing me to start conversations about conservation... sparking curiosity and then turning that into action! Jimmy shared.
If you want to support Jimmy in his mission to protect the oldest rainforest in the world, there are two sweet actions you can take right NOW!
