We’ve got a loooong history with dough and kind of started the whole cookie-dough-in-ice-cream trend in 1984 when a fan suggested it to us! Ever since then, we've been dough-sessed! Here’s a quick summary of how this dough-licious flavour rose to power in the ice cream world.

1984
At our very first Scoop Shop in a renovated gas station in Burlington, VT, an anonymous fan suggested that we mix gobs of cookie dough into our Vanilla ice cream. We gave it a dough and BOOM people seemed to like it....really, really like it!

1991
Fans in our Scoop Shops became dough-ssed with our Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream! They loved it so much that we had to pack it into pints and bring it to grocery store shelves!

2009
In 2009 we landed in Australia and opened our very first Scoop Shop in Manly, Sydney - bringing along, three surprises.... Our dough-licious Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream and our co-founders themselves, Ben and Jerry for the grand opening!
