Our annual HalfCut campaign is back, and this year, we want to take YOU to the World’s Oldest Rainforest – the Daintree – in far north Queensland.

Not only will your donation towards HalfCut help restore and protect the world’s oldest rainforest – every $10 donation will put you in the draw to win a trip for you and a friend to see it for yourself!  
From 1 July to 31 August 2026, every donation of $10 or more to HalfCut automatically enters you in the draw to win a trip for two to the Daintree.

The prize Every donation over $10 will go in the draw to win a two night, three day boutique trip to the Daintree.  We’ll fly you from your nearest capital city to Port Dougals, where you’ll stay in 5 star accommodation at the Pullman Port Douglas.  You’ll also get the chance to experience the magnificent Daintree rainforest first hand, guided by Eastern Kuku Yalanji Elders on a boutique Yalada Tour.  Here you’ll see first 'the incredible work HalfCut and the Jabalbina Aboriginal Corporation are doing to protect, restore and heal the Daintree.

FAQ's

  • Every dollar goes directly to the rehabilitation and restoration of the Daintree Rainforest, and to supporting its Traditional Owners through Jabalbina Aboriginal Corporation. It's not just about trees - it's about healing country and culture by creating long-term sustainable practices and opportunities for First Nations people to live, work and thrive on Country.

  •  The competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18+. The competition will run from 1 July – 31 August 2026, and the winner drawn will be drawn on 3 September 2026.  The prize includes: Return economy flights (from nearest capital city in AU or NZ), 3 nights at Pullman Hotel, Cairns and a boutique Yalada Tour.  Blackout dates apply. Travel insurance not included. The total prize value is up to $5000.

  • Short answer: No.  Long answer: No part of the prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash or any other prize or transferable.

  • HalfCut is an organisation dedicated to rehabilitating and restoring the Daintree Rainforest in Queensland, Australia - the oldest rainforest in the world. HalfCut works alongside Jabalbina Aboriginal Corporation. Ben & Jerry's has partnered with HalfCut for six years, raising over $400,000 and planting more than 20,000 trees to date.

  • Donate $10 or more to HalfCut in-store at your local Scoop Shop or online at go.halfcut.org/ben-jerrys. Every donation of $10 or more automatically enters you in the draw - no separate entry required.

  • More you give, more chances you have:

    • $10 donation = 1 entry
    • $20 donation = 2 entries
    • $25 donation = 3 entries + 1 tree planted in the Daintree

  • Donations must be made between 1 July and 31 August 2026. The winner will be drawn on 3 September 2026. The competition is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 and over.

  • The Promoter is The Magnum ICC Australia Pty Ltd ABN 89 684 088 560. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value. Winners are responsible for their own travel insurance and any tax implications.
